The GT508PR is Edwards' most compact and fastest-deploying PA package — two Audiocenter GT508A active 8" speakers, a Soundcraft mixer, a Shure SM58 microphone, and speaker stands, all in one hire. Combined peak output of 2,200 watts from compact professional-grade cabinets that punch well above their compact size.

Perfect for small corporate functions, wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and presentations up to 100 people where clean, clear audio matters but a large rig would be out of place. The GT508A's built-in two-channel mixer means you can connect a microphone and a music source directly to the speaker if you want ultimate simplicity — but the included Soundcraft mixer gives you proper per-channel control, EQ, and the ability to run multiple sources cleanly.

Connect your phone or laptop via the 3.5mm input cable and the system handles everything else. One person can set this up from scratch in under 20 minutes.

The entire system fits comfortably in a hatchback or the back of an SUV — speakers in their bags, stands broken down, mixer and accessories in a small bag. Easy one-person collect and setup. Adding a wireless microphone is straightforward — Edwards hires wireless handheld, headset and lapel systems that plug directly into the mixer's microphone channels alongside the SM58. If your event needs more microphone channels or a confidence monitor feed, the mixer can be upgraded to a larger Soundcraft analogue desk at the time of booking.
