The Focus 505 is a compact, self-contained battery-powered PA system from Chiayo Electronics — one of the world's leading portable PA manufacturers, and a brand Edwards NZ has distributed and trusted for over 25 years. Weighing just 5kg and roughly the footprint of an A4 page, it is genuinely portable in a way most PA systems are not. Pick it up with one hand, carry it to the venue, and be set up in minutes.

Despite its size, the Focus 505 delivers professional-grade audio through a high-efficiency Class D amplifier and a 6.5" full-range driver with a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz and distortion below 0.5%. It runs on its built-in rechargeable battery for up to 6 hours playing music or over 10 hours for speech-only use, and it accepts mains power so you can run it all day plugged in and save the battery for when you need it.

A built-in UHF wireless microphone receiver is fitted as standard, supporting 100 selectable channels for interference-free operation. The hire package includes one wireless microphone — handheld by default, swappable for a lapel or headset at no additional charge. A second wireless microphone can be added if your event needs two speakers simultaneously. Bluetooth streaming lets you play music directly from a phone or laptop without any cables.

The Focus 505 also includes a built-in digital recorder and MP3 player via USB and SD card, so you can record speeches, ceremonies, or training sessions directly to a USB stick without any additional equipment.
