What can LED backlight panels be used for?

• Backlit stone and marble benchtops — onyx, marble, and other semi-translucent stones light up beautifully from behind, especially in kitchens, bars, and reception counters.
• Illuminated splashbacks — a backlit splashback adds a genuine feature to a kitchen or bathroom without extra fittings on the wall.
• Signs, logos and lettering — the sheets can be cut to custom shapes, making them a clean way to backlight a business sign or feature logo.
• Fabric displays, skylights and architectural panels — anywhere you need even, edge-to-edge illumination behind a translucent surface.

Will it suit my stone or material?

How a backlit benchtop looks depends a lot on the stone and the light colour behind it — warm white and cool white can look genuinely different on the same slab. If you're not sure which will suit your stone, tell us the type (onyx, marble, engineered stone, etc.) and we'll help you find the right match before you order.

Dimming and control — what are the options?

These panels can be run as simple on/off, or dimmed to suit the room:

• Already have a DALI lighting control system? These panels are DALI-compatible. In most cases your electrician already manages the DALI driver as part of your existing system — we can talk you through what's needed.
• Want DMX control? DMX is a straightforward option we can supply and set up.
• No existing system? A simple low-voltage dimmer covers most installs — up to 18 panels per unit — giving you smooth dimming without needing a separate control system at all.
• Just want it on when you want it, off when you don't? Standard on/off is the simplest option, and still gives you that clean, even glow.

• 300mm x 600mm per sheet, 40W each
• >90 CRI — true, accurate colour rendering so the stone or material looks natural, not washed out
• Cuttable — trim from any section, including the centre, for custom shapes like letters or logos
• 3M adhesive backing for secure, straightforward installation
• Acrylic standoffs required where you need extra spacing behind the surface for even diffusion (you want to be thinking 50mm)

Installing and interlinking multiple panels

Panels can be mounted at any angle to suit your design. The one thing to plan for: where panels interlink together, they all need to face the same direction for the connections to line up. If you're covering a larger area, our team will help you work out the best layout, panel count, and cable runs before you order.
