Network Audio Interface Terminal
The Netbell-AU-711 is a network audio terminal that bridges external audio sources with IP paging systems. This professional-grade device enables seamless integration of various audio inputs including MP3 players for background music, SIP bridges for VoIP phone systems, and Netbell-NTG tone generator for break-time alert scheduling and emergency alarm message activation through a push button switch.
It features a 10/100M Ethernet interface and supports audio streaming with sampling rates up to 48KHz and bitrates up to 192Kbps. The device includes one microphone input, one line input, and one line output line output that can connect to an external high-power audio amplifier.
The NEBELL-AU-711 uses a specialized network audio stream format with volume adjustment range from 0 to 100, EQ sound effects adjustment, and can select any 7 groups to broadcasting. It can also join a temporary group to meet ad-hoc multicasting needs.
The NEBELL-AU-711 supports DHCP protocol for automatic IP address assignment and static IP can also be configured through the dedicated NetAudio Config Tool (NACT). It supports three data transmission methods: broadcast, multicast, and unicast. It's compatible with IGMP v2, providing the ability to receive multicast data across network segments.

Important Requirements
To achieve the best audio quality for your IP paging system, we recommend building a dedicated VLAN for this system with network equipment compatible with multicast protocol. Netbell IP paging devices support PoE/PoE+, and a properly configured network infrastructure will ensure a smooth installation.
- The speakers and the PC running the NACT desktop app must be on the same LAN
- Network and Switch Requirements:
- Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) Switch Ports
- Minimum CAT5 cable with maximum of 100 meters from the device to switch
- Network switch capacity to handle power loads for all devices
- Router: Must support IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) and PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast)
- Switch: Must support IGMP snooping
