Antari J-100 Sonic Jet Machine — IP53 Rated, 2700W Fog Jet

The Antari J-100 is a 2700W directional fog jet machine with a high-pressure turbo fan that fires a concentrated burst of fog upward and outward not a diffuse cloud, a controlled jet. At 250ml/min fluid consumption and IP53 weather resistance, it is built for demanding outdoor and touring environments where a standard fog machine would fail. DMX, wireless, and W-DMX control are all supported. Available now from Edwards Sound Systems.

What makes a jet fog machine different from a standard fogger?

A standard fog machine disperses fog in a wide, slow-moving cloud from a heated nozzle. The J-100 works differently -it's a high-pressure turbo fan forces fog through a directional jet nozzle, projecting a tight, fast-moving burst skyward or outward at high velocity. The result is a distinct visual effect: a powerful column of fog that cuts through the air rather than settling at stage level.

This is the effect used for prize-giving reveals, dramatic entrances, side-of-stage impact moments, concert production cues, and outdoor events where a standard machine's output would dissipate too quickly or lack visual scale. The fast response time means the jet fires on cue, not after a warm-up delay.

What venues and events is the J-100 designed for?

The J-100's IP53 rating means it is protected against dust ingress and water spray from any direction suitable for outdoor stages, festival environments, and open-sided venues where weather exposure is a factor. Most fog machines carry no IP rating and are strictly indoor use only.

Typical applications include side-of-stage effects at concerts and festivals, prize-giving and award ceremony reveals, DJ stage production moments, theme park and touring production rigs, and outdoor events and corporate activations where impact matters and weather is a variable.

The external fluid tank allows extended operation without interruption for long events or continuous-use scenarios.

What fluid does the J-100 use?

The J-100 requires Antari FLK fluid a fast-dissipating formula specifically developed for jet fog machines. FLK is not interchangeable with standard Antari FLG fog fluid. Using the wrong fluid in the J-100 will affect output quality and may damage the machine. FLK is available from Edwards in 4-litre bottles at $79.50 incl. GST.

Control options

The J-100 supports five control methods: front panel manual, built-in timer, DMX512, wireless remote, and W-DMX. The wireless and W-DMX control module is optional — not included as standard. For productions running the J-100 from a lighting desk via DMX, the connection is direct. For wireless deployment where running a DMX cable is impractical, the optional W-DMX module covers it.
