Apex Active Slave Speaker: 250W Powered Extension for Apex Pro, Apex EVO and Lectern Pro

The Apex Active Slave Speaker (also sold as the Apex Active Companion Speaker) is a 250W powered speaker that adds coverage to your Apex Pro, Apex EVO or Lectern Pro portable PA. Connect it to the master unit and the same mix plays through both speakers, so a school hall, playing fields, council chamber or outdoor event gets even sound from front to back, or over the road.

It has its own amplifier and built in batteries, so you don't need extra mixing gear. Link it with a standard XLR cable of any length, or use the optional wireless repeater system to run without a cable between the speakers.

Why add a slave speaker

• Wider coverage: a second speaker fills a large room or outdoor area that one speaker can't reach evenly.
• No cable run if you don't want one: wireless repeater ready for flexible event setups.
• Battery or mains: runs from 100-240V AC or its internal battery, so it works in halls, fields and venues without power nearby.
• Lighter option: an optional lithium battery cuts the weight by about 2kg compared with the lead acid version.
• Signal link built in: XLR input and output for linking and expansion.
