The VANTEC6K is Edwards' most popular mid-tier PA package — two DAS Audio VANTEC-12A active 12" tops and two VANTEC-18A powered 18" subwoofers in a properly configured stereo system. Combined peak output of approximately 7,000 watts. This is a significant step up from a single-sub system: two subs means full stereo bass, proper low-end headroom, and the physical presence that makes music feel right at a corporate event or DJ set.

The VANTEC-12A's FIR DSP processing and 90° horizontal coverage give you a clean, wide sound that fills a room without effort. The dual VANTEC-18A subwoofers handle the bass with authority — tighter and more musical than many competitors' sub options. The Soundcraft mixer rounds out a package that arrives ready to go.

Lighter and faster to set up than the HVANTEC6K2, and genuinely the right call for the majority of corporate events, gala dinners, awards nights, and DJ sets where professional quality is expected but the audience doesn't need a concert-level rig.

The system needs a medium-to-large van — two subwoofers at 43kg each require two people and a van with a flat floor. The speakers, stands, and mixer pack efficiently alongside them. Operating the system is straightforward once set up: levels, EQ, and source switching all happen at the Soundcraft mixer. Wireless microphone systems are easily added for presenters or performers, and additional wired microphone channels are available if the event has a panel or multiple speakers. For larger or more complex events where a sound operator is running the show, the Soundcraft mixer upgrades to a digital desk — Allen & Heath SQ series or Soundcraft digital — giving full recall, effects, and multitrack capability.
